VISITOR GUIDELINES & RESTRICTIONS

We ask that visitors comply with all park guidelines and restrictions to help maintain the tranquility and beauty of our peaceful park. Park officials reserve the right to ask any visitor(s) to leave park grounds if they are not complying with our guidelines or disrupting the tranquility of the park.

  • Please do not feed the wildlife within the park, and do not bring or take wildlife to or from the park.

  • Pets are not allowed in the park as they may disturb the natural inhabitants of the park.

  • Children are welcome to enjoy the fascinating beauty of the park, but please, no shouting or roughhousing.

  • Professional or commercial videotaping, photography and sound recording devices are allowed only with prior permission obtained. Visit our Photography Page to learn more.

  • Motorized, remote-controlled devices of any kind are prohibited inside the park.

  • Please enjoy photographing the majesty of your surroundings. Be careful not to disturb other visitors while doing so.

  • Motorized vehicles are not allowed in the park. Exceptions include official Sholom Park vehicles and devices for disabled persons.

  • Skates, skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles and scooters are not permitted.

  • All events held in the park must be scheduled and approved in advance by park management.

  • Alcohol and illegal drugs are not allowed in the park.

  • Park officials reserve the right to ask visitors to leave park grounds if they are disrupting the tranquility of the park. Future admission may be denied to those who fail to honor the park’s guidelines.
