For over 30 years, they have captivated audiences with performances that appeal to many musical tastes. The band features musicians of all ages, including recording artists, music teachers, retired military musicians, full-time professionals, and players from the symphony and Broadway pit—all coming together to create that classic big band sound. Their dedication to entertaining is clear in their sold-out shows, which highlight their musical talent and ability to connect with the crowd. With a strong local following, the Southern Express Big Band remains a vital part of the Ocala music scene, uniting people through the power of music.
