Birdwatching or “birding” has become a popular recreational activity. Sholom Park is home to several bird species, from hawks to swallow-tailed kites, red-bellied woodpeckers, and even the occasional bald eagle. All you have to do is look up to discover that love is in the air and birds are everywhere. Bird expert, Norm Lantz, completed courses in birding biology at Cornell Lab of Ornithology and has taught birding classes and seminars for the last 30 years. Join him for a unique birding presentation followed by a guided walk to experience the birds of Sholom Park.
